Christmas preparations

Christmas can come, I am well-prepared.

I've got:

- my 2 favourite Christmas films on DVD, The Grinch and The Holiday,

- there is that fat furr ball called Tigger who'll love to lie on me lazily and

- I'll get myself enough yummy things to stay at home and on my sofa for the whole time.

- No boring family meetings, no fat roasted duck and no annoying or grumpy family members.

- Just the cat and me.

Maybe this cartoon is right and I should exasperate some people I haven't got along with the last couple of years, and there might be even 1 or 2 of them, but then again I will be too lazy to do that.

Yeah, Christmas time can be fun. As long as you ignore all that commerce, that impressing your rich aunt with expensive presents, that preparing and eating too much unhealthy food and then you should just calm down, stay with your beloved ones, (Even though mine is celebrating Christmas with his family in Portugal. :- And yes, I told him to do so.) relax and enjoy a bit. This holiday isn't about presents but for some reason the world has forgotten about that.

Lieblingsbild

Für alle, die es noch nicht wussten...

N. und ich waren ja Anfang Oktober in der Neuen Nationalgalerie und haben uns "Die Franzosen" angeschaut. Dabei bin ich dann über mein neues absolutes Lieblingsbild gestolpert.
